Ah the weekend...
I did not sleep great last night. A couple of the pups have upset tummys so that meant a middle of the night bathroom break or two for them. I also had a weird dream about one of my doggos getting injured so that was unpleasant.
Then I had to get up at a reasonable hour instead of sleeping in because we had people coming over today. Four of the hubby's guys and both his parents are here today helping us out. Fingers crossed this is the last stretch of the renovation and his mom is kindly helping clean the place up.
I've kept the dogs out of everyone's way, gotten lunch for everyone, marked off our future garden set up and tended to the chickens. So I've done a bit but really dragging today I am so tired. I'd love to nap but that feels a bit rude while everyone else is working so hard.
It is a nice day out so I've spent a lot of it outside with the dogs. It's a bit on the cooler side but the sun feels great.
Lexi-girl loves to be wherever we are.
I am a bit of a Taylor Swift fan and her new Era's tour started last night so my slow time with the pups has included watching some of the clips from the 1st night concert and listening to the new songs that got released.

Food:
- Chai tea for breakfast
- Shrimp fried rice with spring rolls for lunch
- Dr. Pepper for hopefully a kick of caffeine
- Cheese snack in the evening
Dinner is still TBD - maybe leftover chinese from lunch - maybe throwing something else together quick - maybe just snacks cause it is nearly 8 already.
The crew has left and the upstairs is coming together, still some plumbing to fix for the vanity and the closets need a bit of finishing, but it is good progress. I am not 100% sure that this will be wrapped up this week on time for my birthday but I am trying not to be pushy cause that will just irritate my husband and that won't help get it done any faster.
I did build the rolling island that we got for the kitchen. The hubby wanted it out of the garage - not realizing I was waiting until the reno was done because there is temp furniture in the way of it's new home but it's fine for now. Hopefully it won't be much longer and everything will get arranged into the proper places.
Okay, it's now time to figure out dinner and relax for the remainder of the evening.

Update: dinner ended up being leftover chinese (shrimp fried rice).
Also other than building furniture and walking, no other exercise for the day.
