Day 125

 TGIF - Thank Goodness It's Friday.


Today started sigh outside sources of negativity... Aka someone laying all complaints and grievances on me. And at first it seemed to be for advice, but that turned out not to be the case.

Given my already lengthy week, I found it extremely draining. I was emotionally done before I even walked into work. And then of course work itself has it's highs and lows, especially when dealing with people.

I had gotten lunch for the team to show my appreciation. It was appreciated, briefly.

And after that, I had to draw a line on the rest of the day. I did my work and wrapped up as quickly as possible to get away and start the weekend. 

With that kind of day, I enjoyed my commute home jamming to tunes, despite the traffic. 

So I got home and had a pleasant catch up chat with the hubby, fed the pups, did yoga in the backyard (both getting back on track and doing so on my previous 'usual' rest day seemed fitting).


It was great being back on the mat again for so many reasons. I'm excited to get and stay, back on track. 

Then snuggled in with the puppers for an evening watching movies. 

I ate more than I probably needed to today, not sure if because of the stress, being tired, or just not the right foods... 


Shrimp, asparagus, and rice for lunch



Popcorn for dinner. 


And a few snacks in between. Nothing horribly unhealthy just more quantity wise than usual.
