Day 128

I never "mentally recover" in my Sunday night to Monday morning sleep, according to my smart watch. And I feel it.

As per usual, had to hit the ground running.
I made the mistake of checking my resting heart rate for the last week of madness... The ten points I dropped by starting my new diet all came back with the work stress I've been having recently. So that's a smidge concerning.

The stress also seems to be leading to snacking. I had to stop myself early from just continuously grabbing sometime to munch on just because. Cause I knew with what I brought for lunch, I shouldn't be hungry.

Lunch was chickpea pasta with asparagus and parmesan cheese with a side salad of mixed greens, cucumbers, and guacamole as a dressing.
I also had an apple for a snack and blueberries for breakfast with my normal chai tea to start the day.

I ended up snacking on some Goldfish at work and then cut off any more munchies until I got home.

When I got home though, had some house things to do, feeding the pups, etc. And I got out late so by the time it was my "dinner" it was already 830 and I prefer not to eat too late.

I went up and did my yoga and prepped things to make getting ready easier in the morning. Had to lotion all the bug bites I somehow obtained between yesterday and today.

Then I realized even though it's late, I was hungry and wasn't really anywhere near my calorie goal for the day. So I had a few carrots and celery while I got tomorrow's lunch ready, a few brazil nuts, and a piece of pepper jack.

Hopefully that won't affect my sleep or make me groggy in the morning. But I do think I needed a little something in my system.

It's been a few days back on track with yoga, which feels great, and I'm actually now on a trajectory to finish the current 31 day challenge on the 31st this month so that's lined up quite nicely.
