Day 145

 Thank goodness today is my last day in the office this week.

I can't catch a break where people aren't asking me questions expecting I can Hollar back an answer. I still can't talk and I'm exhausted. 

I didn't bring lunch thinking we had to run errands for events this Saturday but the whole area is in a haze from the Canadian wild fire smoke so everything outside is cancelled for now. 

Since we didn't have lunch, I ordered for the office team. They picked buffalo wild wings. And I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have a southwest black bean burger. So I had that and fries for lunch. 

I devoured it and completely forgot to take a picture. 

Then I got home and I wasn't really planning to have much of a dinner but the hubby showed up with a bunch of stuff from a friend's Spanish restaurant. So I had a quesadilla for dinner. Put me a little over the calorie count for the day but it was yummy too. 

I'm so excited for a few days at home. It's supposed to be nice out and the haze should clear enough to make it safe outside without risking my voice any further. 

Pic is of the pergula my hubby built over our back deck. I'll be hanging out under that this weekend.
