Day 184 - thankful Thursday

Today was a good day. Despite my lack of sleep, I got a lot done at work and was able to leave with nothing really pending when my out of office kicked in. I headed out a little early and went to meet my team mate that won't be returning from medical leave for happy hour. I brought all her items back and we had a great time catching up. She may not be able to get back to work with us, but we are still going to remain in touch and hopefully make happy hours a regular event.

In hindsight, I took zero pictures of food yesterday. I had my tea in the morning, and then just mixed salad greens with guac for lunch knowing I was going to have a larger dinner. And we went to Uncle Julio's so I had chips, salsa, guac, frozen margaritas, and a rice/steak bowl. So food wise, I was actually on target for the day, but let's not count the margaritas okay?

Again, it was great to hang out and step back from work. It was a perfect segue into my time off so I got home, watched a Hallmark beach movie and then headed to bed.

In the process, I tried getting a cute picture of my shiba, but he didn't want to cooperate...
