Day 188 - mindful Monday

Today started a little slow. I slept well which  is great but still felt like I could have used more zzzs.

Off to work on time, traffic wasn't awful. I got there a smidge early to then find out my other team member for the day never set their alarm and would easily be an hour late. So that didn't set the best tone of heading back in to see what occurred over the long weekend while I was out of the office. But it turned out fine. Handled a great deal of things on the work to do list. And not too much major (or at least not outside the norm) rolling into tomorrow. 

Breakfast was the usual tea. 
Lunch was the 2nd meal I prepped yesterday... Red lentil pasta with zucchinni, cherry tomatoes, corn, and spicy marinara sauce. Topped with parmesan cheese. 
Also had a side salad with farmers market cucumber and cherry tomatoes topped with a smidge of ranch today. 

Headed home and encountered a bit crazier traffic so I tried to focus on the scenery and how (without other cars/people) it's a pretty drive for a highway.

For dinner, I whipped up some scrambled eggs for the furry babies and a bit for myself to make tiny bean/egg tacos. 
I checked on a few things for the hubby then headed to my "zen zone" to do today's yoga session. I knew it was going to be a longer 'class' so I'm glad I was able to get an earlier start on it.

Wrapped up yoga (with a few furry interruptions) and took the boogers outside to play before bedtime. I realized I had reached my active time and calorie goal for the day but not my steps yet. So I joined them outside, wandering around until I felt close. Prepped a bit for tomorrow to hopefully make the morning going smoothly. And up to bed to find, yep I have now exceeded the step goal and I've got a 3 day streak going!

My hope is that with getting back to regular yoga, and eating well, and reaching these step / activity goals that this trifecta will be the boost to get me to my pre-beach goal.
