Day 226 - stormy vacation
Today we have a storm in the aea, so it's windy and rainy. Not exactly a beach going day.
Started out with hotel breakfast; I had a little oatmeal with pumpkin seeds, walnuts, crasins, and a banana. I didn't finish the oatmeal as it didn't really have much flavor itself. I also had some breakfast potatoes with vegetarian sausage and salsa.
After breakfast we had some down time. My husband has work to do but he was procrastinating and looking at houses for sale (for fun). I took some time to wrap up the final session of August 30 day yoga challenge. And I just finished watching the intro videos for the next 30 day challenge. I'm excited to be on track.
I also think I forgot to mention in all the craziness prepping for this trip and time away from work, I had set a mini goal for weight loss for August to see if I could reach a new target before the beach trip. I got so close! 1.4 lbs away from my goal. I had a little stall mid-month so I didn't quite get there but I'm still happy to be this close.
I am a little nervous to go a full week and a half without checking in weight wise especially eating out and things others are preparing instead of my usual home prepped items... So we will see how that goes. Hopefully the time off helps me pivot and be more active regardless of maybe not as health or hopefully I can find ways to get my healthy habits in even away home (I'm aiming for both if I can).
We went out for a late lunch. Found a seafood place. I had a sandwich, tuna with pico and avocado on a brioche bun and a side of fries. It was tasty but probably not my best idea to have fries two days straight my tummy was like woah.
So for dinner we didn't really want much and wandered up and down the main stretch here. Found a place to get him an ice cream and for me to have a Mango smoothie.
And we walked to lunch and dinner so getting those steps in!
