Day 309 - official holiday start

Today I worked a half day. I went in to do our standard weekly meeting and wrap things up before the holiday. I was able to leave around lunch time and make a pit-stop at Starbucks for a iced gingerbread chai and chocolate croissant before heading over to see my cousin. She was working from home to wrap up the day and I was happy to help babysit her puppy while she wrapped up a few things. We were able to chat and catch up before heading over to join the rest of the family in our usual Thanksgiving-eve plans. 

This evening is one of my favorites with my family. It's usually a slightly smaller group so we all fit together to eat and catch up.

We had a delicious dinner of wheat pasta, shrimp, scallops, and garlic bread. with a side salad of course.

I splurged on dessert and had some apple pie.
