Day 313 - holiday time

Today was a good day overall. I did wake up a little sore in the legs from my 2 mile walk with the girls. 

I started my day with some pumpkin spice chai tea while watching some discovery plus shows (Homegrown and tiny houses). 

Then I jumped into getting the holiday decorations up. We got everything from the garage and I went through all the bins. I didn't use everything this year and some items I've decided to donate. 

We have a jumbo tree and a mini tree and I kept both simple. 

It was unfortunately a two step forward, one step back kind of day for the girls... Daisy (new husky) decided to pick a fight over some misplaced possession idea with Lexi (shepherd). Lexi had her muzzle on for daisy's protection but I can't say the same for daisy, and she landed a full biting grip on lexis front arm. So now they will both coexist in muzzles. Something daisy is extremely unhappy with, but all the bugs safety comes first. 

The boys of course just backed away to safety while this went down. They aren't dumbies or care enough to risk the girls or our (me and hubby's) wrath. 

Daisy daze will figure out eventually who is really in charge here... 

For lunch, I tried the from Costco, panera butternut squash soup... It was delish. 

Dinner was salmon with asparagus and bakery fresh bread. 

And we wrapped the night up on the couch watching Hallmark.
