Day 314 - that's a wrap

It is nearly the end of the month and today is the end of my time off. So it will be back to work tomorrow... (insert sigh here)

This morning I woke up out of sorts and have been fighting that feeling all day. I'm not sure if I slept wrong or had an odd dream I can't remember but I've been off.

I started the day getting the girls muzzled and everyone out into the yard. My in laws were coming back today and some of the hubby's crew was coming by so we needed some steam to be let out so we could relax. 

Eventually I made it to my tea. 

The day has been moving fairly fast and I'm not sure I've got much to show for it. 

Lots of time in and out with the pups. Daisy is getting used to her muzzle a little but then got very grumpy after lunch when it was put back on that she tried to start another tiff with lexi. Which is exactly why they both have it on... 

Lunch was out today at a nearby Spanish restaurant. I got vegetarian fajitas (mushroom, peppers, onions) with black beans and rice as sides. It was good. 

The Amazon packages have started to arrive from my impulse purchases and pending gifts. 

I seasoned my new mortor and pestle. 

I tried making my own version iced pumpkin spice chai... It was okay, not superb.

I spent the afternoon reading on the couch with the doggos separated. 

I prepped oatmeal for breakfast the next few days. 

And then had the rest of the butternut squash (panera brand from costco) for dinner with some hemp hearts and a side of French bread. 

The rest of the evening I watched a movie and then had to start my sleep on the couch until hubby got home to keep the new kiddo company.
