Day 339 - preparation

What an unexpected start.

Barely managed to avoid an altercation with the dogs, up way earlier than planned, doing paperwork, and getting messages from work... All before 10 am. 

Finally get to sit down with my tea. 

Only to have to run a car over to the shop.

With all the people on the road for the holiday. We got back at lunchtime. 

Thank goodness for leftovers 

Then amongst dog duties and general cleaning up - I had a lot to prep. 

I didn't get the premade cheese and veggie boards. I got the items to make it myself. But that meant I needed to cut up the cheese, veggies, and actually chicken too. 

My weekend is going to be split one holiday day away from home, 2 at home hosting, and then another day out. So I needed to make all my desserts in advance too... 

I finished up around 9... Taste tested of course. 

Then I did a quick yoga session and made some tea to wind down.

Finished out the day with an old fashioned Christmas movie
