Goals

It's interesting to revisit this blog idea. 

I started to jot notes about this when I first started the blog. Now it's nearly a year later, and 2023 is ending - and I am back to finish and post. 


I want to make goals and I know the best way would be to start one thing at a time and then grow / add from there. But then I also have many ideas at once and when I am feeling productive, I want to keep starting more new things. 

It's got to be a balance. But it requires patience which is a virtue I struggle with. I don't want to jump into too much and get overwhelmed or have healthy, good habits be negatively impacted.

The other challenge with goals is setting them in a realistic and measurable manner. 

I'd like to say I am good with this but I have found in the past that it is easier to have the bigger idea, but not as easy to break it down into manageable chunks.

I did not set goals for 2023. I wanted to rest and ease into the year. Then I made some lifestyle and diet changes along the way and set mini focuses. I had an overarching idea of "health" - which I did keep in mind throughout the year and during this wellness journey.

This coming year (2024), I want to set goals. And having this blog, I plan to document my focus. 

Over this coming weekend, up to New Year's Day, I will make some goals for the new year.
