is it the weekend?
It's Black Friday but it feels like a Saturday - I've been reminding myself all day I still have more time.
Today I was in full de-clutter mode.
I went through the kitchen (again), laundry room, office, coat closet, art, etc. I found things my husband has been looking for (because they weren't in the right spot), things that he forgot he had (scarves), and things I didn't know we had (smart outlet/timer thing). I got rid of 2 bags of trash and another 4 for donating.
I took an early break to make lunch since I had my two chai teas but no breakfast.
Lunch was chickpea pasta with mixed veggies and plant based steak tips.
Of course I had more tea along the way.
Afternoon snack was popcorn and grapes.
And I was able to drop off the donations in the afternoon on the way to help the hubby get a box truck.
We stopped at a local spanish spot for dinner and I got a vegan burrito - which was huge, and delicious.
I wrapped the day up in my room with some yoga. It has been a fantastic day. Not only did I clear out a bunch of excess - but I also think I got through to the hubby about why it is important to have space and clean/clear areas of the house (aka for peace of mind and being able to know what we have and actually use it).
